Not much more since we got that 142mm of rain ten days ago only 2-4mm every morning in the rain gauge now, its like a miracle I cannot believe we have green grass in the Winter as for the last seven years we have hardly had any green grass in the Autumn let alone the Winter the grass has been either brown or non existent.
Being a Sub-Tropical Climate we get our wet season in the late Spring/Summer.

Thanks... Yes the clouds are very threatening and there are plenty of times we don't have electricity due to the storms.. Here we can get 1500 lightening strikes in one storm and I think the record for S.E.Queensland is 9000 strikes in one hour in the summer of 2006.
A photographer's paradise I have not been lucky enough..

Tony my Hubby and I hand built it ourselves in 2000, no nail guns either we had to get the pro's in for the stump holes, the plastering of the walls, the electricity, and the plumbing and help with the roof as it was just too much for me in my late 50's.. Oh and the Peak on the sides I flatly refused to stand on the wonky planks on the trestles and paint up there but I did all the rest while Tony was doing the interior..

Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

Yes the HDR would have done a little of that, though we do get clouds as dark as that a lot in the wet season, when we get one that is..
