Searched for ages and still don't know the name of this Bromeliad.

Could be some variety of Billbergia..I bought it today from one of the local Markets.

Such a pretty flower...they really are in a class of their own. They never used to appeal to me at all, until I discovered the flowers on the plant:)

Me too Lin I bought another three today, one looks like a red miniature pineapple and the other one is orange and looks like a sheaf of wheat.

That's the only problem with buying at the Sunday Markets the people that sell them never know their names.

I seen that one the link also it looks good..
