Strange thing that now that Summer has gone here in Australia our weather seems to be getting warmer we have had two days of 33°C  already yet the previous three months we only had a couple of days that warm where once it used to be weeks of high 30's..

Also getting lots of rain and many parts of Eastern Australia are flooded, thankfully we dont have to worry about things like that where we live even though we live across the road from a River, not only are we are on the high side of the road and we also built the house up on 120cm/4ft  concrete stumps

Not having much luck with my Camera Gear lately, last week the focusing screen dropped out of my Canon 5D Mk 11 camera apparently you need a steady hand, good eye sight and a plastic tweezer  like tool to put it back and I have neither..  So I rang around Australia,  one place in Queensland quoted me $250 could be more, another one closing down gave me the name of a company in another State so I rang them $100 will do it he said so I posted it away late last week hopefully it will be back next week..

This morning I find that my Canon 100mm L macro lens wont focus on Full, thankfully the two very close up settings work fine and as I only use the closest one,  that lens can wait in the queue to get repaired till I save up the money or win Lotto whichever comes first, just as well I have two other macro lenses.

Hard to believe  Easter is almost here, and as the days are getting cooler and the nights are longer I started  looking for a holiday rental as Tony and I just want to go away and relax again this year,  spending time fishing and I will also be chasing the Birds and Insects to get lots of photographs..  I cannot find anything for rental for the time we want before Easter at  the Low Season Rate so will have to wait till the end of April as the Rates for April being Easter and School Term Holiday are almost as expensive as Christmas time we will wait as the Rates can drop by up to 2/3 in the Low Season and there are less people around also, which is even better.

So roll on and when the School Holidays are over we will be off to enjoy ourselves...
